Journey to the Rockies

Owner - James Connell

A lifelong passion for nature, permaculture, and sustainable development has led me to this specialized and multifaceted work.

The greenhouses I create are based in decades of experience within design, manufacturing and construction industries; a formal education in ecology and a life long journey with gardening and sustainable agriculture systems.

Raised in Florida, it was natural to trek through lush greenbelts and fields with tropical fruits and flowers growing in wild abundance.

At 27 years of age I moved to Colorado; when relocating here, over two decades ago, I didn't leave my affinity for tropical climate and flora behind. Here, we use the plentiful Rocky Mountain sunshine to warm our greenhouse garden and soul.

In 2002, I built my first greenhouse, having the pleasure of gardening in it for two decades. This metal dome design was a prototype and similar to the dome greenhouse kit we offer.
